God Has A Rap Sheet

God Has A Rap Sheet Review

GOD HAS A RAP SHEET, the critically-acclaimed directorial debut from Grammy nominated Kamal Ahmed (The Jerky Boys), is a powerful drama mixed with mystical undertones.

Eight men from different ethnic backgrounds all end up spending the night in a filthy holding cell in New York City… and they are not alone. Also inside the cell is an old man (John Ford Noonan, FLIRTING WITH DISASTER) who claims to be God.

As night falls, the cellmates clash in a war of words. Verbal sparring ensues on subjects of race, religion, creed and sex. "God" tries to help the men work out their differences until, at daybreak, a being of ancient evil comes to join the party…

GOD HAS A RAP SHEET is laced with theology, philosophy and it "percolates with anger and humor." (John Petrakis, The Chicago Tribune)

Also starring genre actor favorite William Smith (FAST COMPANY, RED DAWN, GRAVE OF THE VAMPIRE) and Peter Appel (SPIDER-MAN, BASIC INSTINCT, THE PROFESSIONAL).
